EXPLORE THE HOUSE

Eski Köy Evi is situated in the heart of Kalkan’s old town, famous for its bougainvillea lined lanes leading down to the harbour.  It offers a quiet location but it is perfectly placed to enjoy all that Kalkan has to offer

We fell in love with a derelict old stone house whilst on holiday.  In 2012 we had it renovated to become Eski Köy Evi

The living area boasts a striking glass ceiling that fills the space with natural light. An external electric awning ensures a cool and comfortable environment. The room provides ample seating for both dining and relaxation, accommodating up to eight guests.

At the rear of the living area, a staircase descends to the basement, featuring a well-appointed laundry room, a large shower, and a toilet. Another staircase ascends to the first and second-floor bedrooms, leading to the breathtaking roof terraces.

Bedrooms

Staircases on both sides of the house provide access to the four bedrooms.

The master double bedroom is accessed via a staircase in the dining area, while the staircase from the basement leads to the first-floor double bedroom and the second-floor double and twin bedrooms.

The master and twin bedrooms feature balconies.

All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, each including walk-in showers, sink/vanity units, and WCs.

Hairdryers and safes for securing valuables are provided in every bedroom.

Outside Space

From the master bedroom and second-floor bedrooms, staircases lead to the roof terraces, connecting the left and right sides of the house.

The lower roof terrace features a dining area that seats eight, and a dedicated food and drink preparation area.

The upper roof terrace offers a plunge pool, ottoman seating, a coffee table and parasols.

Both terraces have lighting, making them perfect for evening entertaining.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a gated courtyard garden with seating for eight—a charming spot to start your day while watching the world go by.
